Hi, i am newbie here. My harddisc is not working quite well and WindowsXP doesn't start properly. Fortunately, Linux Fedora Core starts fine. I want to find all my letters from the inbox from Outlook Express and then copy them onto another storage device. Is there any way to do this under Linux? Best regards

I think outlook express stores email in .mbx or .dbx files. Unfortunately they are in a proprietary binary format and not plain text so extracting the data might prove tricky without a working outlook express install. Here are a few links to help read these files: http://mbx2mbox.sourceforge.net/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/ol2mbox
