Hi, I am having seriuos problems with my PC. I built it myself... it was the best that I could build in 1998. I put windows 95 on it and ran smoothly. Now I got angry with it and erased windows and instead tried to install luinux 9.0 32-bit on it and tried to boot it off CD but to was in vain. can anyone daignos this?

Does the CD work on any other system? Did that computer ever read and boot to "burned" cd's. Most from that time could not. Might have to boot to a floppy and load over network. Try a black cd-r (memorex and others sell). They seem to work better. As always use md5checksum to test downloaded iso.. Be sure you did burn as iso and not copy the file.
