Hi, I am am having problems logging on to a unix server, Version 2.1. Using protocol TCP/IP, and DNS. I would like to know if there is any scripts or other secrets that you need to setup to logon on to Linux. I am using win98. The error message that I get is as follows; password incorect, or server not or then your access has been denied.
The problem is that I am re-installing windows the workstation. The user is does have access. I can also ping the server, so that rules out network card or cable problems.
