Hi, I just installed redhat 7.0. During the boot proces it asked a login!!!. I cant remember filling a login name or number. I filled the rootpass, Account name and the password but to no avail. Can somebody help me with that. thanks

The first time you log on you have to log on a root At login type "root"
then youll be prompted for your root password
After you log in you should create at least one user account So you wont damage any thing since root has full adm prvilages.

I logged in as root and filled the rootpass when it asked but after that, it gave me this [root@www /root]# what does this mean and again I filled in the username and the pass but after that it gave me this message "/var/run/gdm.pid ,gdm was already running (...)but seems to have been misteriously murdered" What does this mean, does anybody have a clue? thank you

That means you need to repost your Queston on monday when all the linux pros are checking the boars.
But Till then When you get to the Root prompt try typing startx,xconfig or setup and see if you can get into a gui.
