Hi
I want help in following;
When I start linux, at the top of the login screen this message is written "Welcome to Linux at LocalHost" but I want to change this message to "Welcome to Linux at COMPAQ-PRESARIO".
My question is how can I change "LocalHost" to "COMPAQ-PRESARIO".
Thanks.

As noted, this is not just a banner, it the
network name of your laptop. If this is ok,then

edit /etc/sysconfig/network
HOSTNAME=COMPAQ-PRESARIO
DHCP_HOSTNAME=COMPAQ-PRESARIO
