I am trying to dual boot Linux and WinXP on two SEPARATE harddrives. Linux is on the primary master, and XP on the primary slave. When I choose Windows from the LILO bootscreen I get an 0x07 error. Anyone got any tips on getting this to work?? I have already tried mapping the drives:
drive-map=0x80 to 0x81
drive-map=0x81 to 0x80 in the lilo.conf
but this did not help. Any other suggestions??

thanks

1st of all u need boot into linux..
then edit lilo.conf by using any text editor
e.g.
joe /etc/lilo.conf
after editing run
/sbin.lilo
n reboot the system
editing means u no how 2 configure lilo.conf

it might solve ur problem..

I haven't yet installed red hat linux. Where can I find to download it and also how do I install it from there. I currently have Win xp. I want it so I can choose between the operating systems.

Thankyou.
