Is Red Hat version 7.3 the best one of the series? Is it the most recent?

Thanks,

Red Hat 7.3 is the latest relase form Red Hat but the most reliable linux distubutions are Mandrake and Red Hat. U can get maybe Debian or Suse if u want to experiment more but the Red Hat 7.3 and the Mandrake 8.2 are definatly the best ones to start with and from personal experience ill tell u that the Mandrake is a little bit more "user-friendly" than Red Hat and it also has a NTFS support "out tha box" so if u have a second hard drive with movies or mp3's that is NTFS can view em freely.
