Recently I am tried to install New mandrake 8.2 OS on my Intel P4 2.4Ghz System installation gone sumoothly untill end xconfigurationpart then an error mesg. shows" XFREE-SVGA not found' and stoped not moving more . any one help me inhtis regard how to i rectify or find XFREE SVGA ? Thanks Jawagar

Sorry, but Mandrake 8.2 is no longer new. I've been running it for almost a year and a half. Mandrake 9.1 is available now.
Anyway, back to your problem. It sounds like you didn't choose to install the XFree86 SVGA driver/server. Make sure you choose the necessary XFree86 packages during the installation. To be sure, choose ALL that are applicable.
