Comment:

I have loaded Linux V8 onto a spare machine that I intend to use as a router. It loaded (minimum) OK but when it boots up it wants a 'localhost login:'
I have tried the obvious...'root, redhat, linux, etc using my 'root password' that I intered during installation but nothing works.
Any experience with this???
Thanks..Mel
