Hi all,

I am planning to make my career in system administration field. I would like to know that which course is good for me. I am planning to do OS adminstrator ( Linux / unix / Sun Solaries ) or Mail administrator ( Exchange server / Sendmail ).

Pls let me know which course is good for me.

What is your previous background and experience in those fields? If you are new to Linux, the LPI ceritification is a good place to start. Much of what you learn there will be portable to Unix - somewhat less so to Solaris.

O'Reilly has great reference books for some of the other areas you are interested in. Check out Unix Power Tools and Sendmail in particular.

I am a computer graduate.I live in India. At present I am doing job in an international call center, but I do not want to make my career in BPO industry. I also want to know that I am also planning to learn a foreign language. Please let me know which language is useful for me. Either I will do German or Japanese.
