I just installed Mandrake Linux. Runs great, looks cool {:O) BUT ....

- The Diamond Monster M80 soundcard is detected but shows as a video card along with my Voodoo3 card and I have no audio other than the puter speaker. I'm a Linux Newbie and I NEED my selected music while I learn all this Linux stuff {:O)

- I have Qwest (MegeBit) DSL service. I contacted them for info but unfortunately they were not of any help. So, how to get Linux to detect the Intel Pro/DSL 2100 Modem and get online?

Mandrake has a nice tool called "DrakNet" to get connected to the internet. If only I had the GUI part of linux it might have saved me some time. But if you get stuck with DSL try reading the following howto for some tips.
