Hi can anyone tell me what licences do I need if I have free RedHat Linux Installed on client machines that contect to the Server running RedHat Enterprise edition Server?

I would say you dont need any. Even the enterprise edition of RedHat is GPL. That is why there is a WhiteBox enterprise edition out now. It is RedHat with the Logos removed. They enforce the copywrite on the name only. I am almost sure you can even copy and give away the RH enterprise edition. Now if you want support on those machines you need to call RH for the enterprise editions and Progeny for the RedHat Linux machines. I am sure that darly mcLied and scummx would be glad to sell you an illegal Linux runtime license for 699$ per CPU but that is just an extortion/stock racket that is being run by the sco group.
