hey, I'm having trouble setting up a linux gateway on my network. Here it the setup I have:
| Cable Modem | | 24.214.100.1 | | | | 24.214.100.122 | <---external IP | Gateway Comp. | | 10.74.9.10 | <---internal IP | | | 10.74.9.x in subnet |
I can ping the internal IP on the gateway machine from the internal network, but i can't ping the external IP on the gateway machine. Any info regarding routing will be appreciated.
