I somehow managed to set up a linux router - bu ti dont full understand whats going on. I want to know how to access a pc behind the router from a remote place. I k now I cant put in the 192.168.0.x ip the router gives it - so how do i do it? If there is a site that explains how routers work (and mine does dhcp as well) that would be great thanks

Hello,
What kind of access do you need ? You can telnet to your linux router and then telnet from it to your local network if the other computer uses telnet- I would use something like openssh (more secure), but it depends on what you are trying to do. What kind of access do you need ?
