I just installed Linux RedHat 7.2 and am trying to get my network up and running. I have a D-Link network card running a Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet chipset. I have tryed to setup my ethernet card with the Realtek RTL8139 drivers in Linux using the proper IRQ, but no matter what I do it cannot find my ethernet card.
I use a dlink DFE-530TX+ fast ethernet and my mandrake linux 8.1 powerpack detects it as eth0 just fine. Strange that RH doesn't, as it is network oriented. (I don't use RH) Of course, RH is notorious for lack of supported hardware.

I just installed a Realtek RTL 8139- based NIC in a box running RH V.7.2 and it detected it right off the bat. Try re-installing it and see if Kudzu detects it on start-up.
