Hi Guys.
I need some help here. I have just installed Linux Red Had 8, and every time I try to install setup.exe from Vmtools I get this message.
Nautilus has no installed viewer capable of displaying “/mnt/cdrom/setup/setup.exe”
What do I have to do now. Thanks for any help.May the force be with you.

could try and install " WINE " It's a windows environment emulator, Other than that if your just trying to set up an virtual machine environment , You'd have to get the linux version of vmware and vmware tools, and install them, OR use XEN and qemu, for a virtual machine ,,,, OR download , install and Register Virtual Box,
MSI 845e mb 1 gb ram and a p4 2.4n running fedora 7 xp ,win 2000 advanced server and win 98 SE alot to learn and I know so little !!!!

You need the rpm or script.
Something like
sh /etc/vmware-tools/installer.sh
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
