I have a Linux partition(~10GB) and a Windows 2000 partition(~20GB). And when I turn on my computer it shows my Boot-up Screen that has these options Linux, Fail-safe, and Floppy to choose from. I know how to add Windows to this I just dont know what it's drive designation is. Can anyone help?

If linux mounts your Windows 2000 drive at boot up, just type 'df' at the command line after loging on and it will list the devices. Otherwise you can list them with 'fdisk' but be careful not to accidently format anything.

if your windows partition is installed on the first partition of your primary drive, its designation will be /dev/hda1 in lilo or grub or whatever bootloader youre using. if its found on second partition of primary drive, itll be /dev/hda2 and so on. likewise, if its on a secondary drive's first partition, its designation will be /dev/hdb1 and so forth.
