I am new to linux and I would really appreciate some help concerning the installation of linux on an "old" pentium.
Which linux do you think is best suited to it?
The system has win 95 on it. what do I do?
Thanks

My first linux box was an old 486 p1-66mhz with 16 megs of ram, I had a very old version of mandrake on it, but i would suggest either an old version of mandrake, if you can find it, or redhat 6.2 or 7.1. Of course, it does slightly depend on what you plan to do with it. Post the specs and what you want to do with it and I may be able to give you some better advice.
