linux network connection deactiv

hello, problem is ,whenever i switch off system,network connection is deactvating and again whenver i switchON system ,i have to again enter into ROOT mode and again i have to activate ,how to overcome this problem.

Do you have a symbolic link in /etc/rc2.d/ and /etc/rc3.d/ called S10network that point to the script /etc/init.d/network . If they are not there, try creating them.

I have seen those two files /etc/rc2.d and /etc/rc3.d in both of the files that S10network is available and whether i have to make any changes in /etc/init.d/network means u have to inform pls what changes i have to make pls give details.
