Comment:
I have windows xp and linux mandrake 8.0 installed on my computer. But with Linux I don't have access to my windows partitions, I don't know why. Before I had windows 98 and mandrake 8.0 and it worked perfectly. Does someone know why that issue occurs? Thanks vey much

I don't have Mandrake 8.0 running so I don't know whether it supports NTFS! To tell whether it is or not, look at your mesg or /var/log/messages... If it is, then just mount it,
mount -t ntfs /dev/hda1 /mnt/windows
(assuming that /dev/dha1 is where WinXP is!)
And if it is not, then recompile your kernel to support it...
