I am using Linux redhat 7.2 and i lost my username and password is there anyway i can retrieve it?
No. Passwords can only be changed, never retrieved. If it's a user account password, log in as root and use the passwd command. If it's the root password, you gotta use a rescue disk or boot with "init=/bin/sh" or something like that, then use the passwd command to set a new password.
