linux 2.4.20 is already running. i want to put one mor kernel 2.6.25.
i copied the kernel source into /usr/loacl/src . then run make command after entering into /usr/loacl/src/linux-2.6.25/ and got vmlinux. Now what next to do to get the system up with the new kernel ?

Basically, you would copy the kernel image to your /boot directory, then edit your bootloader. Depending on whether you use LILO (found on many older distros) or GRUB, you would edit the menu file, and then (in the case of LILO), run a program.
