RH 9.0 is almost 3 years old. Why not try a recent Fedora release?

Click my Fedora link above. It'll take you to the Fedora page. Click "Download" on the navbar. Click "i386" unless you have a CPU with 64-bit support, in which case you'd want "x86_64". Download ISOs 1-4. You won't need the SRPM CDs. If you don't get a good download speed, go back and pick a geographically close mirror.

Fedora is a community-supported preview-like version of RHEL. If you want something more similar to RHEL, you could try CentOS or WhiteBox, but I'd recommend Fedora for a modern RedHat desktop.
