Dear everyone,
Im looking for to securing my linux box running Redhat9. Is there such thing in linux to setup something that automatically send alert to an email when system being logged on by root, being intruded etc.
Thanks in advance for advice.

Hey jemmy,

Try logwatch or snort. Logwatch comes with feature of mailing to sysadmin if something goes wrong.
