I'm trying to install linux redhat 6.1 on an old 486. It has 12 mb ram, a 4x creative cd-rom, a future domain "TMC-1610M" SCSI adapter (SCSI ROM BIOS for 18c30/18c50/1800 v3.5)
and a 500 mb IBM SCSI drive. It currently has msdos 6.22 installed.I boot using the boot disk for linux and select text interface. I click cancel on driver disk, and then add device. I select SCSI and then the Future domain driver. The fdomain0 driver gets loaded and it says the it got detected. I then start a custom install and set up a 12 mb /boot, a 64 Mb swap and the rest on / . I click OK and then it says I'm low on resources and wants to write the swap space right away. I click ok and then after a moment I get the following error :

SystemError: (22, ' Invalid argument')I then have the option of ok and debug.
Ok shuts the machine down. What is wrong and what can I do to fix it?
Any help would be greately appreciated, Jolyhils

I got the files on a cd. THe cd came with a book so all files have to be on there. I installed ok before on oher computers. Could the cd-rom maybe not be reading properly?
