The Grub boot loader needs to be removed.I would use a program like Active@killdisk boot disk to write zeros to the hard drive and reinstall Windows XP.Right after writing zeros, you use fdisk and format from a dos Windows ME boot diskette if you make more than one one partition(primary plus extended logical ones) or let Windows do all the partioning and formatting if one partition is good enough.Good luck.
