Hello,
I am in need of some sound advice about setting up a Linux open source firewall server on my spare computer.
I have been looking at both SmoothWall and IPCop as a possible solution, but my basic needs are to be able to traffic shape certain IP rages for example if I only want the computer in the next room to use 50kbp and the rest of the network to run at 200kbps.
And the ability to block websites and maybe programmes if that is possible, witch highly doubt it is.
If not open source then maybe someone can point me in the direction of a cheap one, as Smooth Corporate Firewall 4 is a bit pricy.
