Comment:

I have Windows95 machine I want to also run Linux on. It's a Pentium w/ 166MHz, 64RAM, and only a 2GB HD. I still want to have Windows95 on the system which about 500MB and some of my old data, but what version of Linux (older if necessary) would be the best for my system, with a small HD? RedHat is probably the best and easiest but I don't have the HD space. Can anyone please recommend a manufacturer and specific version that could suit my small needs? Thanks!

peanut linux is 220meg to download and once installed takes about 600 megs.

You'll get a few cool things like KDE 3... I think it's the best of the "small ones"
