Okay, I've been scouring the net looking for ANY flash based mp3 player with open source firmware. I found one, but the price was way too much. Then I got to thinking, surely out of all the linux lovers in the world, somebody had to hack a cheap flash based player and run some version of embedded linux on it. This led me to linuxdevices.com, and subsequently to their info about tiny linux devices and SBCs. And suddenly I said to myself, there's GOT to be somebody out there who's taken these tiny SBCs, added a little two color inverted lcd, snapped on a compact flash or SD/MMC daughter board, shoved it all in a nice little handheld case and booted up a super-tight linux distro to play every audio format known to man on the go. I mean, someone has to have done it, right?

So, anyone know who this mystery brilliant man is and how I can get a hold of one of his products?

Hate has a way of closing the eyes, the ears, and the hearts of men.
