Please I want to know the minimum system requirment for Linux9 installation as a workstation. ie. mem,hd,cpu speed?

You haven't specified what distribution you're looking at using (SuSE 9, Mandrake 9, RedHat 9...); so I can't give you a definite answer.
However as a rough guide:
For graphical desktop:
128MB RAM (the more the merrier of course)
233MHz Pentium or equivalent.
Disk space: For an office workstation, 3GB + 2x the amount of RAM in your system + enough space for data should be enough disk space, but some distributions like SuSe (i'm using Mandrake) may take more. For text console only:
32MB RAM (16MB or even 8MB may work, depends on distro)
75MHz 486 -- 100MHz Pentium or equiv.
600MB HDD (again, depends on distro - some may take more or less)Hope i've been of assistance
Nick

ericcc youre going to have some trouble with that. you wont be able to do much (especially in graphical mode) but you can probably do some sweet stuff in the CLI if you use Slackware.
goodluck
