Go to www.linmodems.org and look at the list of linmodems which are supported in Linux. The best thing for you to do is go out and buy and external modem. it will work with no problems.

Summary: i need the HSF linmodem drivers becaue in www.linuxant.org they are charging for them... i need them because i recompiled the kernel and the older ones wont work anymore... i don't need the V92 driver...
