I'd suggest a diff distro that doesn't require a $100 activation fee to access software that is available free to everyone else.

If you're looking for linux to run INSIDE of windows, try dragon linux (http://dragonlinux.sourceforge.net/) its pretty easy to set up and it will run from a fat partition. don't waste your time with lindows..
