I am currently running KDE on Mandrake 9.0
I am new to linux.. Trying to get out of my
microsoft controlled world.. I want to
install Lime Wire but it came in a .bin
format.. can anyone tell me how to install
this? Remember I am a Noob!!

Looking up limewire on www.rpmfind.net IMHO is the easiest soluti
I recently installed limewire too on the same system and I think that you need the following packages (Limewire depends on j2re and I think (might be wrong) unixODBC.
limewire-2.0.2-1.noarch.rpm unixODBC-2.2.2-9mdk.i586.rpm
j2re-1.3.1_03-3asp.i386.rpm

To install the downloaded packages under KDE, simply click them and click install.
