When I install the first time SuSE Linux 7.1 i make lilo installation in a floppy. I have Windows 2000 in another partition in the same harddrive. Now I'm thinking what happends if I have a problem with the floppy. I want to know if I can install lilo in the harddrive now without installing linux again.

Hai,
Have u loaded linux within 1024 cylinders (8 GB) of ur hard disk ? If so, u can run '/sbin/lilo' to install lilo onto ur MBR of the harddisk.
To create a new bootable floppy disk, run -
'/sbin/mkbootdisk XXX --device /dev/fd0' where XXX is the kernel version.
