Comment:

hi all,

i'm having a problem that i have no idea
what is...!!!

During boot i have a message
libc.so.6 version 'GLIBC_2.3' not found
required by....

also i receive simmilar message for varios
other applications that just wont start
(including rpm and other 'essential')

I checked and i have libc.so.6 file in my
ur/lib but i'm not sure what version.

Now... any ideas how to solve this
I'm runing RH 7.1 but most applications
that i am truying to start came with
distribution so I dont see why there should
be problem with library version.

If you think that glibc version is a
problem can you tell me how to upgrade them
(i'm just begining with linux so please go
easy :) ) if not ,
any idea how to solve this

Thanx all
Alex

ps. if you need any other information
please ask ...
