Depends what browser ou want. IE has not
been ported for linux (nor is it likely
even to be) so that wont work. If you have
KDE installed konqueror is there
automatically. Others very used are mozilla
(www.mozilla.org), netscape
(www.netscape.com), opera (www.opera.com)
and galeon (http://galeon.sourceforge.net/)
to name a few.

thnx, I tried to find latest netscape off their site and couldn't figure out whats avail ?

Do you know of latest navigator for linux, or feel any of above is superior , as good or close to it ?

I had used early opera in win platform in the past , wasn't impressed but it did the job... Have any particular opinion on that ?

I use konqueror mostly. When it fails i use
netscape6. What then you want to use. Test
those that you want and take your pick. The
choice of what browser to use seems to be
flammable subject which brings all
advocates to all browsers flaming away :)

As far as i'm conserned, since i use kde
and konq gets most things right so its good
enough for me.
