KVM issues with Caldera OL 2.3

This is a relatively minor issue. I have two computers (Dell Dimension & HP Pavilion 6343) hooked up to one monitor, keyboard & mouse via a Power Reach Lite KVM controller. No problems with the Dimension. It boots Mandrake 10 & Windows 2000 Pro reliably. The other machine, which should boot Windows 95 OSR2 & Caldera Linux has this problem : when I boot into Linux, the mouse doesn't work unless I unplug it from the KVM switch and then back in again. Like I said trivial, but is there any solution? Just curious.
