Any Linux Distribution 'can' be set up on a computer with the intent to use the computer as a firewall machine. There are distributions designed for this purpose such as Smoothwall. Mandrake has one called MNF (Mandrake Network Firewall). The MNF information page is here, and the list of mirrors list is here
