"NO init found, try passing init- option to kernel"

And freezes up.

Anyone knwo how to stop this?

I burned it with MagicISO and I burned it TWICE, and bothcopies do the SAME thing.

have you checked your ISO image?

md5sum.exe knoppixxxx.iso

then compare the obtained key with that in knoppixxxxx.iso.md5 file

You could also try this : at the boot prompt, where it asks you to hit any key to initiate boot sequence you can hit F2 then you'll have a bunch of options, you could simply type: failsafe then ENTER
and see what happens, it might work.

Good Luck.
