hi,
i am doing a project on device drivers that is "device driver for the serial port using 16550a uart".
here are my questions :
1. why recompilng of kernel is required?
(because latest kernels are modularised i think re compiling is not necessary)
2. how can i install the linux kernel source?
3.Is there any ready device driver for my above said project.
