Hi everyone. I'm still farely new to Linux but I managed to get everything running smooth and fine. At the moment im using Kubuntu until I get around compiling a new Kernel for Debian.
What I was wondering though is this: I have seen a couple of Linux Boxes using KDE where a panel on the Desktop displayed all these system infos like Disk Usage, CPU Temperature, Fan speed etc.
I was wondering how to add this on mine as well (KDE 3.4). While we are at it, I found a neat Grub Splashscreen (at the moment i use a KDE-like Grub splashscreen) that I would like to install. But instead of editing /boot/grub/menu.lst (like with the one i use atm), the install guide says replace /boot/grub/message Problem is I dont have such a file and I was wondering if it would still work, and if so what I might need to change.
Cheers Everyonefor the help up front Dark_Kartug
