jabber(chat) server have problem

Machine 'A' is jabber server Machine 'B' is jabber client A and B can ping together I use Gaim I load file 'jabber-1.4.2.tar.gz' 1.....I upzip file into /home/usr/local/opt => folder opt , I mkdir 2.....I write command # ./configure and # make 3.....I edit file jabber.xml by command #%s /localhost/siemen83 => my hostname #%s /127.0.0.1/192.168.253.83 => my ipaddr : wq 4.....and then # ./jabberd -h siemen83 & 5.....and then I check port 5222 # netstat -na | grep 5222 port 5222 listen 6.....I can add user in machine A and file (username).xml is created in folder 'spool' by automatic 7.....but can't add user in machine 'B' that point to machine 'A' (host) it appear dialog box indicate that " can't find this host" 8.....How I could solve ?
