Someone told me that before I can play Unreal Tournament 2003, that I had to enable 3d acceleration with the graphics configuration tool that comes with Fedora. How do I start the graphics configuration tool?
Thanks in advance.

I think its called "redhat-config-graphics" or something like that. It will be somewhere in your gnome or kde menu. Just check if 3D acceleration is enabled or not, that will tell if DRI is supported on your Radeon card or not. Most radeons work great in linux. I don't have one of them so I have no experience. But google is your friend.

try redhat-config-xfree86. I think it leads to /etc/X11/XF86Config.

I believe when UT2003 came out only Nvidia drivers were supported. I have no idea about the current situation. Refer here for other information.

You also might search in the UT forum with your particular details.

Ya well, I deleted all those config programs from my redhat (now heavily modified)... The DRI kernel modules should be loaded to enable DRI... and you /etc/XF86Config should have "Load DRI" in it... I think thats pretty much it...
