Greetings:

I downloaded an ISO image of Knoppix
CD-based Linux.
I tried to burn it, but instead of making
a usable CD, Nero simply put a copy of
the ISO image on that disc.
Anyone have an idea as to how I can use
Nero to turn the ISO into a usable CD?
Thanks...

You select the option from the file menu that says Burn Image...

The default settings there should work.

Try the make a bootable CD option in Nero. This should do it.Though I kinda thought like tru it would be bootable if you burned the image. You did set your BIOS to boot from CD-Rom first didnt you? If you dont do this it wont matter how correct the CD is it still wont work.
