CPU/Ram: 256ddr

This has been a problem for me of late. I cannot get online using suse8.1 I'm connected through and ethernet into my router. When linux boots my ethernet device comes up and says "eth0: ifup-invalid interface name". I need help. please someone save me~!~!

It doesn't sound like you have the correct
module/driver loaded for your NIC. Are you
able to use yast(2) to choose your card?
