Im new to Linux, set up Definite Linux 7 on a Dell labtop with Project336 pcmcia modem. Can connect to internet OK, but throughput is very slow, under windoze things are much faster. Same ISP same carrier speed with both platforms. What have i done wrong with my linux setup, are there any diagnostic commands? Thanks in afvance, Andy

Hmm, what are the connection rates? What did you use to configure the connection, KPPP? What handshake connection rate do you get? Whole lot of questions that you have to research....
Hope this helps, good luck.
