Hi All,
I have installed a Red Hat Linux 8 on Compaq DeskPro .I have a DSL internet connection connected through LAN.My network card is DLink-DFE 538tx.
RedHat Linux 8 didn't detect my network card.
How to connect internet connection using this network card?

That model number sounds familiar. I believe it uses the RTL 8139 chipset. Unfortunately, right now I do not have the possible 20-30 minutes to try toverify on the Internet. I suggest you try the driver for the RTL 8139. It will not cause any damage if it is the wrong driver.
