Hi, I am Starting an Internet Cafe in the town where I live, and I am wanting to use linux to run it. Is there any version which would be better suited for such a venture than the other. Also does anyone know of any software that runs on linux (internet cafe software) that would do auto control of the workstations from the server. I have some windows software thaT does it but I want to stay away from windows because of reliability issues. Thanks in advance.

I am partial to Slackware but Slackware isn't for starters redhat is a good one 7.3 is there new version I would get that. I am not sure what kind of remote administration you want to do but you could use winVNC for it go to the sites freshmeat.net and sourceforge.com win VNC's site is http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/winvnc.html it is free for win32 and Linux

Mac OS X server would run your cafe like a dream!
Os X=the reliability of mac os with a linux core thrown in!
They also have a version of OS X that has an unlimited user licence!
