No problem...XFree86 now ships with the i810 server (since 3.3.6 I think) but you still need the kernel module to set RAM aside. You can get them both from Intel: http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/intel810/linuxsoftware.htm I can personally vouch for them with Redhat 6.0 and 6.1 and Mandrake 6.1, and the supplied documentation is excellent. Please go to http://www.alsa-project.org. It has i810 audio driver for Linux.

I have install Linux 6.2 in Compaq deskpro EC series Pc in 4.3 GB hard disk , But it Error message showing ide reset ????????? something & always getting dump( its a message of driver of PCI IDE controller Intel i810 ,)& Linux not working properly.
