Comment: Hi folks, Actually i am interested in installing Linux 9 but i don't know how to install. I want to make a server of Linux and through which i want to run 10 clients. please tell me in detail and in easy words about how to install linux. And one more very important thing is that i want to install squid server on it for tha cache on the server.Tell me about squid server also about how to install it and configure it for the clients . Reply: (edit)Most ditros have options to install as a workstation, server etc and automatically select the most appropriate packages for the job. You can also install squid afterwards if it wasn't selected during initial setup.
